The Regional Transportation Agency of Central Maryland (RTA) is excited to announce two major service changes to enhance our regional connectivity!
Introducing the NEW Route 505, connecting Columbia, Ellicott City, and Catonsville. We have also restructured Route 405 to provide local service within Ellicott City, further expanding service to previously unserved communities and connecting passengers to additional resources across the city. Route 505 | Columbia-Catonsville (NEW)
Service to Columbia, Ellicott City, and Catonsville
- Monday – Sunday Service
Expanded access includes:
- Employment opportunities
- Shopping choices
- Healthcare & schools
- Connections to MTA and CityLink service
Route 405 | Ellicott City
Restructured Route: Local service in Ellicott City
- Monday – Friday & Saturday Service
Retains many of the same stops as the current Route 405
Transfer to Route 505 for connection to Columbia and Catonsville
New service to Pine Orchard Apartments and Goodwill
- Long Gate Shopping Center (Use Route 505)
- Mall at Columbia (Use Route 505)
