Michael Dyer has practiced as a lawyer and lobbyist for over 35 years. In the 1980s he served as counsel to the United States Senate Committee on Labor and Human Resources and as Chief of Staff to a Member of the House of Representatives. He has represented a wide variety of entities including health care organizations, higher education institutions, and municipal, county and state governments. He secured for the Maryland Institute of Trauma and Emergency Medical Services the US Congressional designation of National Study Center of Trauma and EMS.
He served 16 years on the City of Laurel’s Historic District Commission, three terms on the City’s Ethics Commission and one term on its Charter Review Committee.
